Your moment of self-care
For National Mental Health Break Day, I was thrilled to be invited by Shinetext to provide some advice on the importance of mental health days and why mental health breaks are good for business.
Could you use a bit of a break today? Here’s a brief abdominal breathing exercise that is perfect for calming your body and giving you the opportunity to ground yourself. (I created it as part of a self-care challenge I did a few years ago). So, find yourself a quiet spot and listen to the recording. It’s less than 8 minutes, so I know you can find the time to give yourself that gift of relaxation.

These days my body is feeling the effect of lack in self-care. My body literally doesn’t want to move and it takes colossal strength to do the smallest thing.
